A customer called The Roof Whisperer after discovering leaks at the bottom corners of a skylight. Since we were nearby on another service call, we quickly assessed the issue. During the installation, we also had to perform interior work to retrofit the skylight properly. The original carpenter had framed the opening using outside curb measurements instead of interior ones, which created alignment issues. Fortunately, Michel’s expertise allowed him to reframe and finish the opening with select pine boards that matched the rest of the ceiling perfectly.

To complete the project, we applied a clear coating on the new pine wood. This finishing touch blended the skylight seamlessly with the existing tongue-and-groove wood ceiling, enhancing the aesthetics of the interior while ensuring durability.
