Ice build in flat roof did cause a leak on flat roof. Expansion and contraction during freeze and thaw may resulted in separating SBS membrane seams causing the leak. Water leaks were showing on multiple places on ceiling below which  forces us to propose a roof replacement.

We were able to send one of our emergency roof repair team members Olsi, to shovel snow of the roof, break and remove ice also. Homeowner did end up calling the home insurance since this disaster is covered from them. Most likely will be replacing the roof in coming days.
