Wall Tuckpointing for Blacktoft Dr Toronto, ON

Water entered through mortar brick cracks every time it rained with strong winds from the east. After our inspection, it became clear that both the mortar joints and wall flashing needed attention.

To resolve the issue, we carried out an intensive repair process. First, our team carefully ground out the deteriorated mortar joints to remove all weak and damaged material. Next, we performed tuck-pointing using high-quality mortar to restore strength and prevent future water penetration. Finally, we replaced the flashing along the wall, ensuring a watertight seal between the roof and masonry.

The customer was very satisfied with the results. This project was completed in 2015 and remains a great example of how proper tuck-pointing and flashing replacement can eliminate leaks and extend the life of a chimney.
